Hope Street Youth and Family Services Limited ("Hope Street") is a secular community organisation that provides specialist crisis accommodation, short term housing and support services to young people and their children experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.

Job Description
ON A DAY-TO-DAY BASIS, YOU WILL:
Provide support and assistance with living skills, connections with the community, personal and social development, employment, education and training.
Assist young people to follow up actions from their case management plans including housing, income, education and training, health and wellbeing, general living skills and recreational activities.
Complete client file notes as needed and assist with administration duties for seamless operation of the program.
Foster a safe space, assist and motivate young people to be at their best day to day and to achieve their self-determined goals. Desired Skills and Experience
You have a bachelor’s degree qualification in Social Work, Youth Work, Psychology or other health/welfare related area.
You have work experience in youth focused practice frameworks such as strengths based or trauma informed practice
You have experience or knowledge of crisis accommodation settings including but not limited to youth homelessness
You have sector knowledge or experience understanding of young people’s trauma with complex needs, including homelessness, family violence, alcohol, drugs and/or mental illness
You pride yourself on your ability to motivate and advocate for clients to achieve outcomes
Competent using the full suite of Microsoft applications
